Longest Constitution in the World

So, basically constitution is a set of rules which are different in other countries. In this Indian constitution is the longest constitution in the world with 448 or articles and 12 schedules neatly placed in 25 sections.

The constitution of India list down the fundamental rights, directive principles and fundamental duties of the citizens. It declared India a sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic, republic and Asia's Liberty, equality and fraternity to all of its citizens.

The constitution was prepared by the drafting committee. The constitution was adopted by constituent assembly of India on 26 November 1964 and came into effect on 26 January 1960. It took 2 year 2 months and 18 days to draft the constitution of India.
