और बालक चर्चिल ने खेल खेल में पानी में कूद गया

यह घटना इंग्लॅण्ड की है. एक बालक चर्चिल नित्य ही अपने दोस्तों के साथ नए नए खेल खेलते थे. अब एक बार तय न्बाही हुआ की कौनसा खेल खेले काफी सोच विचार के बाद सब्ने भारतीय लुटेरा खेलेगे चर्चिल भारतीय गुंडे बने और उनके दोस्त पुलिस चर्चिल भागते हुए असली गुंडे की तरह भागने लगे भागते भागते वह एक पुल पर आ पहुचे चर्ची को उसके दोस्तों के द्वारा घेर लिया गया था उसने पानी में कूदने का सोचा और कूद गए और नदी ज्यादा गहरी ण होने के कारण वो बेहोश हो गए. ३ दिन बाद जब वे होश में आए तब उनके एक दोस्त ने उनसे पूछा की तुम पूल में कतु कूड़े तब उसने जवाब दिया की असली हिन्दुस्तानी गुंडा भी यही करता. सार यह है की भारतीयों की काम करने की क्षमता इस अंग्रेज के विचारो में झलकती है जो आत्मा विकास के लिए विदेशो का मुं ताकने वाली आज की भारतीय पीढ़ी के लिए एक सबक है.

राष्ट्रपति राजेंद्र प्रसाद ने नौकर से मांगी क्षमा

भारत के प्रथम राष्ट्रपति राजेंद्र प्रसाद के जीवन की एक घटना है| एक बार उपहार में उन्हें हाथी के दात की एक कलम दवात मिली| वह उन्हें इतनी प्रिय थी की वे लिखते वक्त ज्यादा उसी का इस्तमाल करते थे| जिस कमरे में उन्होंने कलम दवात रखी थी उसकी सफाई खुद उसका नौकर तुलसी करता था| एक दिन मेज साफ करते करते कलम निचे गिरकर टूट गई| राजेंद्रजी को जब ये बात पता चली तो उन्होंने नाराज होते हुए अपने सचिव से कहा इस आदमी को तुरंत बदल दो| सचिव ने तुलसी को हटाकर एक नया काम दे दिया| उस दिन राजेंद्रजी के मन में खलबली मची रही की एक मामूली सी गलती के लिए उन्होंने तुलसी को इतना बड़ा दंड क्यों दे दिया?

लाख सावधानिय बरतने के बाद भी इंसान के साथ ऐसा कैसे हो सकता है?

शाम को उन्होंने तुलसी को बुलाया| उसके आते ही राजेंद्र उठकर खड़े हो गए और बोले, तुलसी मुझे माफ़ कर दो| तुलसी पहले तो सकपका गया फिर राजेंद्रजी के पैरो पे गिरकर क्षमा मांगने लगा| राजेंद्रजी बोले, “तुम अपने पहले वाले काम पे जाओ|” कृतज्ञता भरी आँखों से तुलसी ने अपना काम संभालना शुरू कर दिया| सार यह है की व्यक्ति को पद स्तर जाती सभी से परे एक इंसान के रूप में देखने वाले की दृष्टि सम होती है और और इसलिए वह सभी से क्षमस्व व स्नेहपूर्ण होता है|

आम का पेड़ काटने के बाद आलसी भाई बने परिश्रमी

एक गाव में दो भाई रहते थे. दोनों बहुत आलसी थे. उनकी आय का एक मात्रा स्तोत्र उनके घर में लगे हुआ आम का पेड़ था. उसके आम से जो पैसा मिलता उसी से अपना गुजर बसर करते थे. दोनों इतने आलसी थे की गर्मी में सिर्फ आम ही खाते थे. कोई रिश्तेदार भी आ जाए तो वो उन्हें सिर्फ आम ही खिलाते थे. गर्मी के अलावा अन्य मौसमो में जब आम के पेड़ पे अच्छे आम नहीं आते तो वे बचेकुचे पैसो से ही कम चलते थे. और वे ख़तम हो जाए तो वे पड़ोसियों से पैसे मांगते. एक दिन गर्मी के मौसम में उनका एक रिश्तेदार आया उन्होंने उसे भी आम ही खिलाया. वो रिश्तेदार हमेशा आम खाकर उब चूका था. तो उसने आम का पेड़ काटा और वहा से भाग गया. अब दोनों भाइयो के पास मेहनत करने के अलावा और कोई चारा नहीं बचा था. अपने पालन पोषण के लिए यही एक उपाए था. कुछ सालो के बाद वही रिश्तेदार जब वापिस आया तो उनकी आर्थिक स्थिति बहुत अच्छी थी. उन्होंने उसका स्वागत किया और अपनी गलती को समझ गए.

दुष्टों के लिए प्रार्थना कर जयदेव स्वस्थ हो गए

गीत गोविंद के रचियता महाकवि जयदेव तीर्थयात्रा पर निकले थे. किसी राज्य के नरेश ने उनका सम्मान करते हुए बहुत सा धन दिया जिसे मार्ग में डाकुओ ने लूट लिया और हाथ पैर काटकर कुए में फेक दिया. उस कुए में पानी नहीं था. वे कुए में ही कीर्तन करने लगे तभी वहा से महाराज गोदेश्वर राजा लक्ष्मण जी की सवारी गुजरी. जयदेव की आवाज सुन लक्ष्मण ने उन्हें बहार निकला और वे उन्हें लेकर राजधानी में आए. जयदेव की विद्वता और भगवद्भक्ति से प्रभावित हो लक्ष्मणसेन ने उन्हें अपनी पंच्रातना सभा का प्रमुख बना दिया. एक बार राज्य में किसी उत्सव के आयोजन पर वे डाकू भी साधू के वेश में आए. जयदेव को वहा देख सबके प्राण वाही सुख गए. जयदेव ने भी उन्हें पहचान लिया और राजा से कहा ये मेरे कुछ पुराने मित्र है आप चाहे तो इन्हें थोडा धन देदे. राजा ने उन का भव्य सत्कार कर बहुत सारा धन दिया और कुछ सेवक उनके साथ भेज दिए. मार्ग में सेवको ने जयदेव और उनकी मित्रता के बारेमे पूछा डाकू बोले हम सब लोग एक राज्य में कर्मचारी थे जयदेव के बुरे कामो के कारण उसे उस राज्य के राजा ने मृत्यु दंड दिया. लेकिन हमने उसे बचाया. हम ये बात किसी को नहीं बताए इसलिए वह हमें इतना सम्मान दे रहा है. तभी जमीन फटी और डाकू उसके अन्दर समां गए. सेवको के मुह से ये बात सुन जयदेव ने राजा को सब कुछ सच सच बता दिया और भगवान से प्रार्थना की, “मुझे सद्गति दे.” और उनके हाथ पेर फिरसे ठीक हो गए. वस्तुतः ह्रदय से क्षमा लेने और देने वाले का हमेशा कल्याण होता है.

Do not be careless of anything

This incident occurred in Noakhali. After the Hindu Muslim riots Gandhiji toured the area on foot to foot to reassure and comfort the people. He would set from village soon after dawn and arrive at the next village after sunset.

On arrival he would first attend his work then he would take a bath. Gandhiji used a rough stone to clean his feet. Miraben has given this stone to Gandhiji and many years ago Gandhiji had kept it careful ever since. He took it with him everywhere.

One evening they arrived at village and Manu was getting Gandhiji’s bath ready, she noticed that the stone was missing, she looked everywhere but she could not find it. She told Gandhiji that the stone was missing. It must have been on the weaver where we stayed yesterday. What should I do now?

Gandhiji thought for a moment. Then he said, “Go and fetch the stone. If you suffer once you will not forget another time.” “Can I take someone with me?”, Manu asked. “Why?”, questioned Gandhiji. Manu was silent.

She did not admit that she was frightened to go alone.

The way to the village lay through forests of beetle nut and coconut and it was easy to lose way one time. Because Manu was barely 16 years old, and she had never gone anywhere alone. But she could not find the answer. So Manu took the path they had earlier in the Day.

Carefully following the old footprints she managed to reach the village and find the weaver’s house. The old woman who lived there recognised and welcomed her warmly. Tired and irritated Manu told her why she had come here.

But how was the old woman known that bit of stone was so valuable?

She had thrown the stone with the rubbish. They both began to search for it.

At last they found it, she left the house at 7:30 in the morning and returned to Gandhiji.

This stone was real test for you. Do you know that this stone was with me from the last twenty years. It has gone with me everywhere from jails to mansions. I can get another stone like it, but I wanted you to learn that it is bad to be careless.
