1. J J Thomson was and English physicist famous for his ground-breaking studies.

2. He discovered electrons, the negatively charges particles in the atom.

3. It was 1987 when is was experimenting with cathode rays, when he found some negatively charged particles which were much smaller than a atom.

4. These particles were came to know electrons later.

5. Electrons are found at the nucleus of a atom. They orbit the nucleus.

6. Thomson also made other observations regarding isotopes, canal rays, and so on.

7. Democritus was not a noticeable person in his time in Greece. This was because his work was more scientific than philosophical. But his work attracted the attention of Aristotle.

8. Thomson was also rewarded with Nobel prize in 1906 The prize represented his theoretical and experimental work on the conduction of electricity by gas.

4. Write the similarities and differences between bicycle and fan.
Ans- Similarities- Both are in circular motion.
Differences- Bicycle is in rectilinear motion too while fan is not in rectilinear motion.

5. Why can we use elastic measuring tape to measure distance?
Ans- The Elastic measuring tape will not give exact length.

6. What will you use to measure the grith of a tree?
Ans- Measuring tape.

7. What precaution is to be taken to measure with meter scale.
Ans- 1. Place scale is in contact to the object.

लंबा सफर है तुम फिर से हाथ थाम लो..

सफर वहीं तक है जहाँ तक तुम हो,
नजर वहीं तक है जहाँ तक तुम हो,

ऐ मेरे पाँव के छालों ! जख्मो को साथ ही रखना
जमाना मुझसे मेरे सफर के निशान माँगेगा

जो सफर की शुरुआत करते हैं,
वे मंजिल भी पा लेते हैं बस,
एक बार चलने का हौसला रखना जरुरी है.
क्योंकिअच्छे इंसानों का तो रास्ते भी इन्तजार करते हैं..

सफर का मजा लेना हो तो
साथ मे सामान कम रखिए
