Tough nut

Habit is easier to make than to break this is true to a great extent. The work that we do professionally, many a time it direct impact on our personal lives and hence in a way we get addicted or devoted to it. An interesting accident about professional habits was reported

in a vernacular daily a few days ago.

One of the state government proposed to get rid of beggars from their miserable lives and rehabilitate them in a manner that they can live in a dignified way, without asking for alms. The plan was unique and noble one and bureaucratic support was obtained. The government offered bank loans to some of the identified person of the city at a trial basis and encouraged them to start their own business. They were asked to repay the loan of easy instalments.

Only some of the beneficiaries started their business and other kept their loans as fixed deposit. Although not fully, partially the loan repayment was successful. But of the problem of government was not the repayment but rehabilitation. The result was indeed shocking. the beggars did not leave their begging habit. They divided their time into two parts one was for begging and the second was for the business. This incident speak ups the habits in human being. We refuse any change if it leads to better change. The noble scheme discontinued this project because all of the governments effort went in vain.
