Akbar’s begum was pestering him to change his advisor Birbal, from Sher Khan and she claimed that the Sher Khan is cleverer than Birbal.
One day she came with Sher khan and asked Akbar let put match in Birbal and Sher Khan.
Just then Akbar saw a caravan of bullock carts in the distance and he asked Sher Khan to find out where it was going. Sher khan rode out and came some time later with the news that the caravan was its way on Nizamabad.
How many carts are in the caravan.
Sher Khan went to find out and returned with the news, there were 120 bullock carts.
In the caravan what are they carrying.
Sher khan came back half hour later. To tell him they were carrying rice. Just then Akbar saw Birbal and told him to find out where the caravan was going Birbal rode away and returned after an hour.
It is a merchant caravan they are going to Nizamabad of 120 bullock cart Birbal said. They are carrying rice the rice was excellent and cheap so I bought the entire lot for the palace the caravan is now on its way now.
Akbar looked at his Begum triumphantly but she would not meet his eyes. Because she realised her mistake.
Moral is that if we have to get information about something then we should do complete research like Birbal had done and should find out the way of benefits for ourselves.
