1. International  Human Solidarity day

• International Human Solidarity Day is observed annually on December 20 by the UN General Assembly. 

•The General Assembly, on December 22, 2005, by resolution 60/209 recognized solidarity as one of the fundamental and universal values in the twenty-first century. 

•Therefore, proclaimed December 20 of each year as International Human Solidarity Day.

2. Minorities Right day

•The Minorities Rights Day is observed in India every year on December 18. 

•This day is observed to protect the rights of minority communities, as a contribution to nation-building, to ensure the security of minorities in their particular language, caste, religion, culture, tradition, etc. 

•The Minorities Rights Day in India was first observed on December 18, 2013.

3. Vedic Paint to be launched

•The Union Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Nitin Gadkari introduced the soon-to-be-launched Vedic Paint’ made of cow dung. 

•To boost the rural economy and generate an additional income for farmers, Vedic Paint will be launched through the Khadi and Village Industries Commission. 

•It will come in distemper and emulsion forms and will dry in just four hours.
