Answer- Cactus is adapted to live in desert because of-
1. It has spine instead of leaf to prevent transpiration.
2. Stem is green for photosynthesis.
3. It has long leaves roots for absorbing water.
4. Stems have waxy coating to prevent evaporation.
5. Fleshy stem to store water.
