1. Need food- Living things need food animals need food while plants need water and minerals of soil.
2. Respond to stimuli- Stimuli means sudden changes, like if you come from a dark room to sunlight.
3. Growth- A plant grows into a tree this is called growth. It occurs in all living organisms.
4. Respiration- The process in which the gases in the air exchange is called respiration.
5. Reproduction- The process through which new ones are born is called reproduction. The plants reproduce by pollination.
6. Movement- All animals move. You may have noticed that the animals don't stay at one place. They move. Plants also move as their own minerals, water and other things move.
7. Excretion- The process through which animals and plats get rid of waste material is called excretion.
