Do not tease animals

The morning sun had risen, spreading its warmth everywhere. Few pedestrians were walking on the pavement. A weary puppy, seizing his chance, came and started digging mud below him. He stretched and then laid down to sleep. He has been unable to catch sleep for few days, At night there were many confusing things happening. There were loud explosions and showers of fires. He   spend the night running away from them. Brrr! Those things gave him collywobbles. Tired and weary, he drifted out to get some sleep. As he was sleeping, a group of boys stormed onto the road, their pockets full of small crackers that they would burst. They were enthusiastically how they had celebrated Diwali. They  were young just 8 or 9 but they were very mischievous. As they were trudging a boy saw the puppy, who was in deep sleep. "Hey look there" he said, pointing towards the puppy,"Do you want to scare him?" he asked. A boy grinned and took out  a pop-pop  cracker and was just about to throw it when he was yanked by back by another boy. ''That would just startle it and would make it run. Lets slowly form a circle around him and then bombard him with pop-pop." Everyone agreed and quietly form a circle. Took out a fistful of pop-pop. One boy signaled and BAM! The little puppy yelped loudly and woke up from his sleep. He snarled and tried to escape but was blocked by kids legs. He gave a dreadful moan of pain and then leap through legs of boy, and ran as fast as he could, fleeing for his life. The boys started to chase the puppy, throwing pop-pop at him. At last the puppy took refuge under a car. "Should I stick Laxmi bomb under the car?" one asked. "This is Mehra uncle's car. Don't even stick a pop-pop under it unless you want to be scolded by them." the others warned him. "So what do we do?" he asks. "Let us go to have lunch. We will figure it there." everyone agreed. 
The puppy laid shivering there. After a while, tried hard and slept there. But alas, while he slept there the car was driven away. Now the puppy was fully exposed! Soon boys finished their lunch and came back to their victim. "Ah, now we can stick to our plan. We would tie the Ladi {string of firecrackers} and burn it." said a boy. They saw the puppy has nowhere to hide.The others nodded, the boy lit up a incense stick. Another took the Ladi out and tip-toed to puppy and he was just attaching the Ladi and the came an adult dog she was mother of the puppy, her grown teeth and huge size make the boys afraid. "We were just taking s.. some f.. fun." And they faced backward and run for life, the puppy barked softly "wow-bow bow-wow". As they were running the front child was fallen all they fallen. They saw the incense stick was lighted and they had to run more and they walked some steps away from the incense stick but they had got hurt. They puppy barked as celebrating victory.
