You are the sky - Pavleen Arora

I was just reading cuttings from an old newspaper where I got this beautiful poem. Very motivating lines written by the poetess Pavleen Arora. Please read till the end.

A sheet of vibrant shades spread wide

With dark on one while bright on the other side

Juggling through the sunrise and sunset of life

Walking through difficult weathers we human survive

Polluted yet free

We spend our lives in unseen irony 

While we decorate ourselves with stars

We ourselves become the bomb of our wars

Storms hits us, and so does the cyclone

Combating it are we, all alone. 

Like an unpredictable wave 

Time hits us hard on our face 

While our courage disappears in the mist

We still hold hopes tight in our fist

When life shoves us into disguise

Like valiant souls again we rise

That’s the power of human potential

Then why do we fear to fail? 

Temporary is the agony, temporary is the struggle 

Temporary are the tears, temporary is the battle

Time will pass, you please remember 

You are the sky; everything else is just the weather.
