Choice

Hello, my dear reader. I hope you are reading my articles regularly and trying to apply the affirmations in your routine. And also sharing them with your friends and family. Here in this article, I am sharing a small paragraph from a newspaper column. Also, the affirmations based on the same are written at the end. Please read it till the end.

 

If you fail to get your way, don’t let it get you down. Take what is, what has happened, what you have, and make the choice to move forward. It’s great to set positive intentions and to make them happen. Yet if a particular intention does not happen, it’s not the end of the world. Disappointment reminds you of what you care about and helps you learn from what went wrong. Feel the disappointment, absorb its benefits, and then let it go. There is nothing to be gained by extending your disappointment. There is nothing to be gained by feeling sorry for yourself or seeking the sympathy of others. Instead, transform disappointment into determination. Use the energy of that determination to be more effective at bringing your next intention to life. Disappointment is a powerful feeling. Whenever it comes along, choose to use its power positively. Those who keep talking about how much they have accomplished, haven’t accomplished much at all. Those who blame others for their lack of progress won’t ever get very much done. Those who spend all their time making promises, never get around to following through on those promises. Those who are skilled at finding fault won’t ever find a way to create value.

 

Affirmations based on the article:

1) If I am confused about what to do I can find my way in the easy-going.

 

2) I set positive intentions to make them happen.

 

3) I know very well that disappointment is part of the journey towards the destination. And it reminds me of what I care about and I learn a new lesson from what went wrong.

 

4) Whenever I get disappointed I feel it and justify its benefits and learn from it and lastly I just let it go.

 

5) I can transform my disappointment into determination. Then I use that determination to help me out to get the success in my life.

 

6) I can positively use the power of disappointment because I know very well that disappointment is a powerful feeling. The same power which can destroy can construct.
