1. Jardalu is a dried apricot fruit with pale yellow or orange color and velvety soft fleshy skin.

2. The fruit is not grown in India, but it is also widely consumed i India.

3. It's consumed so widely because it can be easily stored and are sweet.

4.  Jardalu is full of fragrances.

5. Jardalu are closely related to peaches and nectarine.

6. These fruits share the same family of fruit tree genus, called the Rosaceae.

7. The main producers of Jardalu are Turkey, Iran, Italy, France, Spain, Syria, Greece and China.

8. Jardalu are rich in beta-carotene, giving them their beautiful color.

9. These are also high in glucose.

10. One can also break the cover of Jardalu and eat the nut inside, which is similar like almond.

11. A serving of raw Jardalu will give you 1149 mg of beta-carotene. 

12. It is also rich in fiber and Vitamin C.

13. These also help in reducing the risk of heart diseases.

14. It also has non-heme iron, which helps in preventing anemia

15. It also contains minerals like potassium, iron, zinc, calcium and magnesium.
