When we look back over our life we will be somewhat like the fellow Francis. One afternoon he was riding a camel in a caravan which was traveling to a distant city to sell their merchandise. A voice out of the sky spoke to Francis saying, "Get On Your camel and ride yourself to an oasis 10 miles West. When the stars come out tonight, pick up all the pebbles lying around the oasis and put them in your pockets. In the morning you will be both glad and sad. Francis did as he was instructed. After he had picked up several pebbles he become tired and went to sleep. When the sun warmed his face he rubbed his eyes and stood up to stretch himself. He reached into his pockets and pulled out the pebbles and the pebbles had turned into jewels. Francis was happy that he had picked up some pebbles and said that he could not pick up more.
God wants everyone to be a winner he gave talents to everyone just like the pebbles but what we do with the talent and whether we convert them into jewels is the problem. Many of us leave them as pebbles and few turn them into jewels.
It will be helpful if we ask yourself how many pebbles we have picked up today and how many have turn into jewels by initiating action hard work and creating higher returns?
Success is a relative concept that means what may be successful for one person may not be successful for another wealth, notoriety, plan and power are no measure of success. The real success is what we accomplish with how much potential we have.
Most of us do not even come close to realise our full potential. One reason is that we set our sights to low because we are afraid of that we might fail. Instead of putting all your chips on the table and rolling the dice we play safe to avoid loss.
The human being is unique. Our fingerprint, footprint, voice print, name, identity, Blood group and everything is unique then why do some people want and pretend to be somebody else. In fact after a long spell of acting we lose our originality and thus lose the opportunity to remain unique.
