Pictures on cigarette packet depicting the danger to inner organs of the body much helped many smokers to kick out the addiction. But in the era of modernisation girls and women are becoming habitual to smoking as SMOKING is considered as symbol of fashionable.
Teenaged girls mostly initiate smoking. The main reason is parent addiction or peer smoking. The busy adults allow teenagers to get in the unhealthy behaviours as they can not supervise their young one.
The risk of death from lung cancer among women who smoked is twenty five times more than that of men. A woman who smokes dies averagely 10 years sooner than who do not smoke. The smoking may cause heart diseases, stroke, pulmonary diseases and other cancers including breast cancer.
The new manufacturing of cigarettes which give a product with perforated filters, less irritating tobacco blends, porous paper are more dangerous as they allow deeper inhalation of the smoke. This results in higher nicotine level in the blood. This may lead chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD).
Smoking in women leads to fertility problems also. Some of common problems that may arise are ovulation problem, damage to reproductive organ, damaged eggs, increased risk of miscarriage and at last premature menopause.
It is never too late to quit smoking. As you stop smoking your life starts becoming healthy and happy. You start feeling young and looking beautiful as you quit the smoke.
