Ma wrote in his autobiography about his trial when he was first sent to the Monasteries. The parents told him that they would not accompany him and they also did not say farewell to him because they would not want him to be tempted to return to his house.
When he has arrived at the monastery the head of the monastery was waiting for him. The head said that he would test the disciple to gauge his capability. He was asked to sit in a classroom and close his eyes till the teacher returns. So the young entrant waited and closed his eyes till the teacher returns.
The teacher took a long time and awakened to the entrant. He saw that he was pleased to enter the monastery and be with them. It only shows that disciple pays.
Today is the time to re-program you, remodel your self-image, give your self-esteem a great facelift. Therefore, gravitate towards positive people, who gave you a lift to change your personality.
