Muchukunda took up the the fight with demons and after a long war lasting several months, defeated them.
The gods rejoices but Muchukunda's shoulder were in fatigue.
Ask for anything you want said Indra.

Let me sleep said Muchukunda. I am so weary. You will sleep as long as you wish. Anybody who disturbs your sleep will be reduced to Ash.
Muchukunda sought a cool dark cave and self on the ground and went to sleep. Some years later dreated warrior Kalayavana made his appearance in that part of the world. Kalayavana wanted to destroy Krishna and attack on Mathura. Krishna pretending to be terrified ran into the cave in which Muchukunda was sleeping. Kalayavana rushed in after him and in the darkness of the cave mistook. Muchukunda Krishna. And face your and like a man roared Kalayavana and caught hold of Muchukunda's leg. Muchukunda woke up and Kalayavana turned into ash.
