Kashmiri palak

Ingredients
1 kg spinach washed and chocped
5 tbsp oil 
1/8 TSP asafoedita 
1 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
One and half tsp Kashmiri garam masala for sprinkling

Method:
Heat oil in a large saucepan on high flame. Add asafoetida and then spinach and stir. Turmeric powder red chilli powder salt and baking soda. Stir and continue to cook and spinach softness. 2 cups of water and cook uncovered for about 20 to 25 minutes still little water is left full stop reduce heat and mash spinach with the back of ladle. Cook father for 8 to 10 minutes, uncovered. Remove from fire place the cooked spinach in serving dish. Sprinkle Kashmiri garam masala. Serve hot.
