1. File tab- 1. This displays the backstage with options like New, Open, Save, etc.
2. Title bar- 1.This shows the name of document and the name of application.
2. It also contains options like Minimize, Maximize and close buttons.
3. Quick access toolbar- 1. It has tools for frequent use, like Save, Undo, etc.
4. Ribbon- 1. The ribbon has two parts: tabs and groups.
2. Each tab has different commands.
3. Each tab has different commands arranged in groups.
4. Home, Insert, Page Layouts, Formula, etc are tabs and Clipboard, Font, Alignment, etc are groups.
5. Workbook- 1. An Excel document is called a workbook, it is a collection of multiple worksheets (spreadsheet).
6. Worksheet- 1.The worksheet is a spreadsheet made with rows and columns.
2. The intersection of a row and column is called a cell. A cell with dark boundary is called a active cell.
7. Rows- 1. Rows are represented horizontally from the top to bottom of the worksheet.
2. Rows are labeled as 1, 2, 3 and so on.
3. There are 1,048576 rows in a worksheet.
8. Column- 1. Columns are represented vertically.
2. They are labeled as A, B, C and so on.
3. There are 16,384 columns in a worksheet.
9. Cell name- 1. Each and every cell on a worksheet has it's own name.
2. For example- A1 is the cell where A is column name and 1 is row name.
10. Formula Bar- 1. It displays the contents of the current cell.
2. It is also used to create or view formulas.
3. Data can be entered directly in a cell using it.
4. When we enter a formula in a cell, the result in the cell and formula is shown in the formula bar.
11. Name box- 1. It displays the name of the cell.
12. Sheet tab- 1. It is the tab displays the names of the worksheet. We can add more worksheets or delete existing ones.
13. Status Bar- 1. It displays the current status of the worksheet and zoom options.
