Harappan civilisation

Hello friends in this article you are going to read about Harappa.

1. Harappa is now in Pakistan.
2. Harappa grew wheat, barley, peas, pulses, rice, sesame, linseed and mustard. 
3. Archeologists found stone weight, shells, beads and metals like copper, gold, bronze and silver.
4. Archaeologists found actual piece of cloth were found attached to the lid of a silver vase. Spindle whorls were also used to spin thread have also been found.
5. Harappan houses were usually one or two storey rooms which were built around the courtyard.
6. Houses had separate bathing area. There were wells to supply water. Houses had a well and closed drainage system.
7. The Harappan seals were made up of stones. They were usually rectangular in shape.
8. The seals had a animal figure on it.
9. The seals may have been used to stamp bags, or packets containing valuablegoods to be send to other place.
10. If the seal was intact one could understand the good was arrived safely.
11. There were two parts of the civilisation, western and eastern. Western part was smaller but higher and all important buildings were built there. There rich and important people lived.
12. Eastern part was larger but lower, there common people lived. It was called the lowe town. 
13. The civilisation may have been ended because of these reasons-
1. The river dried up.
2. There was deforestation.
3. People died due to some diseases.
4. the rules became weak.
5. An attack by other civilisation.
