Wish

 

Vande Matram! In this article, I am sharing a small conversation between son and father. This small motivational incident I got from a newspaper column. In the end, I shared some affirmative sentences which are based on the same article. Please read till the end.

 

One day a son comes to his father for advice, “Dad, I can’t do this anymore. Those lessons only exhaust me, and the result doesn’t change. It must not be destined for me to play football and my dream will never come true. The father looked at his son and said: You know son, every person in life has a dream, a goal for his life. They are the ones that make us do what we are doing because it’s what we believe in, what we feel.

 

The easiest way is to quit everything and not go until the end because the path is difficult and we are not used to inconveniences. We want everything to be easy. But the wishes are fleeting! This is how our dream dies. Gradually life becomes a routine without depth and meaning. Then one day we try to forget and start everything from the beginning. But new obstacles come in our way, and we stop again. We become full of despair and anger for our own helplessness. But you only need to remember one thing: never give up, fight, battle. It doesn’t matter that you have lost one or more battles. Life goes on! Your biggest enemies are biding in you – laziness, fear, doubt, indecision. Be a warrior of your dream, a knight of your goal, and a soldier of your wishes!

 

Affirmations for this article:

Gopal's house

The monsoon was on and the Gopal the King's jester was so poor that he cannot change his roof. And if the rain will happen once the roof will be blown so he thought of a plan. 

He was going to the court lately. When the King asked Gopal, "Why you are coming late every day?" 

Gopal said, "I am preparing for the Annual Kartik puja, and I want to invite you to the Puja. Gopal started making his roof, and the week of Puja he started preparations. He put a ladder to climb on the roof so the King can come, and he managed to put an Agnikund on the roof. And so on... 

When the day came the Maharaja saw that the roof was slanted, and he cannot sit on the roof. King asked, "I cannot sit on the roof." 

Gopal replied, "I cannot let you sit on the mud, so I arranged everything on the roof. The Maharaja thought for a minute and ordered the best quality bricks. For the house. And thus Gopal's house was repaired for the Kartik Puja.
Moral: Use your intellect to solve your problems.

शनि प्रदोष व्रत कथा

 शनि प्रदोष व्रत कथा 

प्राचीन समय की बात है। एक नगर सेठ धन-दौलत और वैभव से सम्पन्न था। वह अत्यन्त दयालु था। उसके यहां से कभी कोई भी ख़ाली हाथ नहीं लौटता था। वह सभी को जी भरकर दान-दक्षिणा देता था। लेकिन दूसरों को सुखी देखने वाले सेठ और उसकी पत्‍नी स्वयं काफ़ी दुखी थे। दुःख का कारण था उनके सन्तान का न होना। सन्तानहीनता के कारण दोनों घुले जा रहे थे।

एक दिन उन्होंने तीर्थयात्रा पर जाने का निश्‍चय किया और अपने काम-काज सेवकों को सोंप चल पड़े। अभी वे नगर के बाहर ही निकले थे कि उन्हें एक विशाल वृक्ष के नीचे समाधि लगाए एक तेजस्वी साधु दिखाई पड़े। दोनों ने सोचा कि साधु महाराज से आशीर्वाद लेकर आगे की यात्रा शुरू की जाए। पति-पत्‍नी दोनों समाधिलीन साधु के सामने हाथ जोड़कर बैठ गए और उनकी समाधि टूटने की प्रतीक्षा करने लगे। सुबह से शाम और फिर रात हो गई, लेकिन साधु की समाधि नहीं टूटी मगर पति-पत्‍नी धैर्यपूर्वक हाथ जोड़े पूर्ववत बैठे रहे।

अंततः अगले दिन प्रातः काल साधु समाधि से उठे। सेठ पति-पत्‍नी को देख वह मन्द-मन्द मुस्कराए और आशीर्वाद स्वरूप हाथ उठाकर बोले, ‘मैं तुम्हारे अन्तर्मन की कथा भांप गया हूं वत्स ! मैं तुम्हारे धैर्य और भक्तिभाव से अत्यन्त प्रसन्न हूं।’ 

साधु ने सन्तान प्राप्ति के लिए उन्हें शनि प्रदोष व्रत करने की विधि समझाई और शंकर भगवान की निम्न वन्दना बताई। 

हे रुद्रदेव शिव नमस्कार।

शिव शंकर जगगुरु नमस्कार॥ 

हे नीलकंठ सुर नमस्कार। 

शशि मौलि चन्द्र सुख नमस्कार॥

हे उमाकान्त सुधि नमस्कार।

उग्रत्व रूप मन नमस्कार ॥

ईशान ईश प्रभु नमस्कार।

विश्‍वेश्वर प्रभु शिव नमस्कार॥ 

तीर्थ यात्रा के बाद दोनों वापस घर लौटे और नियमपूर्वक शनि प्रदोष व्रत करने लगे। कालान्तर में सेठ की पत्‍नी ने एक सुन्दर पुत्र जो जन्म दिया। शनि प्रदोष व्रत के प्रभाव से उनके यहां छाया अन्धकार लुप्त हो गया। दोनों आनन्दपूर्वक रहने लगे।
